Daniel Allott is senior writer and public policy analyst for American Values. Daniel joined American Values in 2004 and has written for numerous print and online publications, including the Houston Chronicle, Washington Times, the Politico, Washington Examiner and the Weekly Standard. His topics have ranged from the sanctity of marriage to genocide in Darfur to driving patterns in the developing world. His primary interest, however, is the sanctity of human life. He has also written an academic article on the link between abortion and psychological health, which he presented at the World Congress of Families IV in Warsaw, Poland, in 2007. Daniel has also appeared on regional radio talk shows to speak on topics ranging from Islamic violence to abortion.
Daniel received his Bachelor of Arts (BA) in English and International Relations from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and his Master of Public Policy (MPP) from the Georgetown University Public Policy Institute. Daniel was born in Reading, England, and lived in a number of states and countries before settling down in Washington, D.C., in 2002.
