The President's Prayer, Where Are Trump's Allies, Standing For Life

The President's Prayer
This morning, President Trump joined other European leaders in Portsmouth, England, the British city from which the D-Day invasion was launched.  Each world leader had a small role to play in the ceremony honoring the 75th anniversary of the D-Day invasion.

Carnival Of Resistance, Horowitz Report Done, Thomas's Future

"Carnival Of Resistance"
This morning, President Trump held a press conference with British Prime Minister Theresa May.  According to one CNN commentator, it was a "very warm joint appearance."  Both leaders acknowledged the importance of our trans-Atlantic alliance.  Trump joked with May several times, even eliciting a few laughs from reporters in the room.

Prayers For The President, A Royal Welcome, Twitter & Tiananmen

Prayers For The President
President Trump made an unannounced visit yesterday to McLean Bible Church, just outside of Washington, D.C.  He received a very warm welcome from the church, one of the largest congregations in the metro Washington area.
The president was there, according to a White House spokesman, "to visit with the pastor and pray for the victims and community of Virginia Beach."

Alaska Earthquake, Trump Tries Again, Clinton's Comedy Routine

Alaska Earthquake
Did you feel that Earthquake?  It happened up in Alaska, and the shockwaves were really strong here in Washington, D.C.

Pray For The President, Equating Life With Racism, Back To The Voting Booths

Pray For The President
Reverend Franklin Graham is calling on Christians across the country to join together this Sunday, June 2, for a special day of prayer.  Specifically, Graham is asking men and women of faith to pray for President Donald Trump.
We are urged to pray for "all those in authority," and I was honored to join Rev. Graham and hundreds of other faith leaders in endorsing this call to prayer for our president and our country.  Below is an excerpt of Franklin Graham's statement:

Mueller Speaks, Transparency vs. Secrecy, Thomas vs. Ginsburg

Mueller Speaks
Special Counsel Robert Mueller addressed reporters and the American people for the first time today.  He declared that his investigation was over, that his office was closing and that he was resigning from the Justice Department.
Like the investigation and Mueller report itself, today's statement by the special counsel is unlikely to change any minds.  Those who want to impeach the president still want to impeach him.  Nancy Pelosi is still in a difficult position.  Those who want to move on still want to move on.

Memorial Day, EU Elections, Gillette Doubles Down

Memorial Day
I hope you and your family had a wonderful Memorial Day weekend.  I also hope you took the opportunity not only to enjoy the extra time with your family but also to thank God for all the sacrifices that brave men and women have made throughout our history to win and preserve our freedom.

Patriot Graves

Patriot Graves
Monday marks Memorial Day, a national observance first known as Decoration Day.  The first Memorial Day was observed on May 30, 1868, on the orders of General John Logan, commander of the Grand Army of the Republic.  Flowers were placed on the graves of Union and Confederate soldiers at Arlington National Cemetery.
Initially meant as a time to remember those who fell during the bloody battles of our brutal Civil War, the holiday's significance has been extended to honor all those who paid the ultimate price for our nation.

The Left vs. Reality, Liberal Policies Kill, Kudos To Ben Carson

The Left vs. Reality
During the Cold War, which Ronald Reagan helped to win, virtually everything that our military recommended and that Reagan wanted to do was opposed by the left in Europe and America.
Fortunately, the strong leadership of Reagan, Margaret Thatcher and Pope John Paul II was able to overcome that opposition.  As Reagan put it, "We won. They lost."
That was a lifetime ago.  Reagan took office 38 years ago.  And the presidents after him went back to sleepwalking through a dangerous world.

Impeachment vs. Infrastructure, The Pro-Abortion Left, Carson Puts Americans First

Impeachment vs. Infrastructure
President Trump and Democrat leaders were scheduled to discuss a big infrastructure plan at the White House today.  That meeting never happened.
