Biden’s Impeachment Advances
The House of Representatives voted late yesterday evening to approve a formal impeachment inquiry into President Joe Biden, giving key House committees more subpoena power as they investigate the Bidens. The vote was 221 to 212, with all Republicans voting “yes” and all Democrats voting “no.”
Democrats insisted this was a pointless exercise because there was no evidence of wrongdoing. Speaker Mike Johnson publicly made the case for moving forward by laying out several serious accusations against Joe Biden.
Constitutional Law Professor Jonathan Turley is siding with Republicans on this. Writing in the New York Post, Turley states that there is “overwhelming evidence of a corrupt Biden family influence-peddling operation” that could justify “at least four articles of impeachment.”

The Hamas Wing
After voting to advance the Biden impeachment inquiry, members of the House also voted on a resolution condemning the rampant anti-Semitism on university campuses and calling for the presidents of Harvard and MIT to resign.
While it passed by a comfortable margin -- 303 to 126 -- 60% of House Democrats opposed it. The vote should have been unanimous!
But that’s how large the Hamas wing of the progressive left is today, a fact that should greatly disturb us all.
Nadler Leads The Charge
It was somewhat surprising to see Rep. Jerry Nadler (D-NY), a strong supporter of Israel, lead the charge in opposition to this resolution. But he viciously attacked it, and his reasons were quite revealing.
He denounced the resolution as an effort by “MAGA Republicans to undermine America’s colleges and universities.” Really? How so?
According to Nadler, the resolution condemning anti-Semitism was really a well-disguised attack on “these schools for their efforts at diversity and inclusion, for their support of the LGBTQ+ community, and for teaching the history of the United States in a way that does not fit their preferred narrative.”
Well, that shows you where the heart of the progressive left really lies. In Nadler’s fevered mind, Republicans are condemning anti-Semitism because they really hate homosexuals and minorities. The only thing missing from Nadler’s tirade was abortion!
That’s insane!
So, some leftists will fail to take a strong stand against anti-Semitism because it’s more important to them to protect the LGBTQ movement and Marxist critical race theory and DEI, which is directly contributing to the explosion of anti-Semitism and anti-Americanism.
Reclaiming Our Campuses
At the end of the day, the left simply doesn’t want to teach our kids that they are blessed to be in this country – a country that has provided more freedom and prosperity to more people in the history of the world.
Many Jewish students have said they were all in on progressive issues – until they were abandoned for Hamas by their progressive allies who hate Israel.
Well, here’s Rep. Nadler refusing to stand with those Jewish students because he cares more about protecting the LGBTQ agenda and the America-haters on our university campuses.
Many Americans bemoan the studies showing declining patriotism. But the entire progressive movement is 1,000% committed to indoctrinating young people so that they have no love for America.
They are not bothered at all by the fact that many young people come out of eight years of high school and college despising America. To them, that’s just confirmation that their radical neo-Marxist agenda is working.
In his own way, Nadler just gave away the game. He made it crystal clear why we must reclaim our campuses and seriously reform education if we are ever going to make America great again.
Secure Our Borders
This explosion of anti-Semitism also exposes why the massive influx of people coming into America today is unlike anything we experienced in previous eras of our history.
When immigrants came to America in the 1880s and early 1900s, our entire system was set up to assimilate them and turn them into patriots.
During previous waves of mass immigration, there was no welfare system. We were certain of who we were, and we knew the most important thing we could do was make sure that new immigrants loved America and became patriots.
The immigrants themselves understood how important it was to show Americans how much they loved their new country. There were patriotic rallies full of immigrants eager to sign patriotic songs and wave the American flag.
Today, the people coming to America wave the flags of foreign countries, insist on speaking foreign languages and are taught by leftists in our schools how evil America is.
This is slow-motion suicide. No nation and no society can survive this kind of cultural chaos.
Bigotry In Boston
Two years ago, the left celebrated Michelle Wu when she became the first woman and first person of color to be elected mayor of Boston, Massachusetts. Well, it turns out that there’s really nothing all that special about her. She’s just another left-wing race baiter who seems to hate white people.
Wu thought it would be fun to host a holiday party for the city council, so an aide sent invitations to all council members. No big deal, right? Wrong!
It turns out that the party wasn’t for everyone. Within 15 minutes, several council members had their invitations rescinded.
Why? Because it was a party for the “Electeds of Color,” or minority council members only. In other words, “no whites allowed.”
Well, as you can imagine, this has ignited a huge controversy. Mayor Wu quickly issued an apology – but only for accidentally sending the invitation to the wrong (and white) council members. They still can’t go to her party.
This racist mindset is widespread among the progressive left. But it’s no different than the bigotry of George Wallace or David Duke.
For everyone thinking that it’s Donald Trump who is dividing America, think again. These leftists have no interest in bringing Americans together.
For the left to unite us, you would have to buy into their brand of racism, which is the exact opposite of Martin Luther King, Jr. He said race should be the least important thing about us. For the modern left, it is the only important thing.
And their only interest is making white people “pay for their crimes.” That’s what the demand for reparations and “equity,” in all its forms, is all about.
Everything they advocate drives us further apart. Thus, when they have power, they make America weaker.
The silver lining in all this is that the vast majority of Americans of all races, who are not infected with racism, are appalled, and they know the left’s race baiting does not help us at all.
I suspect this is one reason why some Hispanics, and even some black Americans, appear to be moving our way.
The Trump Trials
Special Council Jack Smith is one very busy and very worried man. His plan to upend the 2024 presidential campaign with a March trial of Donald Trump right before the Super Tuesday primaries just took a big hit.
The Supreme Court announced yesterday that it would take up a case challenging the application of a portion of the 2002 Sarbanes-Oxley Act related to the “obstruction of an official proceeding.”
What on earth does that law, which pertains to financial crimes, have to do with Smith and Trump? Federal prosecutors have charged the former president and hundreds of January 6th protesters with “obstruction of an official proceeding,” a crime punishable by 20 years in prison.
Of course, this charge is never used against leftists disrupting congressional hearings, and legal scholars have questioned whether it even applies at all to January 6th. Again, the law was written to address financial crimes in the wake of the Enron scandal.
One January 6th defendant appealed his conviction, and the Supreme Court agreed to hear his case, suggesting that several justices have concerns about how the law has been used. If his conviction is overturned, then a key part of Smith’s case against Trump falls apart.
As a result of this action and another “extraordinary appeal” to the Supreme Court by Jack Smith regarding the question of presidential immunity, Judge Tanya Chutkan suspended Trump’s March trial.
In this instance, Chutkan had rejected Trump’s claim of presidential immunity, and Trump was appealing her decision. But Smith isn’t willing to delay the March trial as Trump appeals through the various layers of the judicial system.
Smith wants a conviction NOW!
So, he’s attempting to bypass the DC Court of Appeals, going straight to the Supreme Court, and short-circuiting Trump’s legal rights to appeal.
Meanwhile, progressives are pressuring Justice Clarence Thomas to recuse himself from the immunity case because his wife, Ginni Thomas, like millions of Americans, seriously questioned the results of the 2020 election.
